Homemade Strawberry Bars

I'll be honest with you—for years, those convenient breakfast bars were a staple in my pantry. You know the ones. Promising fruit filling and whole grains, perfect for rushed mornings when everyone's scrambling out the door or a quick snack when they're hangry.
But then I started actually reading the ingredient labels.
Corn syrup in the filling? Modified food starch, artificial colors, and a vitamin blend trying to make up for everything that's been processed out? When I counted, there were over 30 ingredients in those little bars—and most of them I couldn't even figure out what they actually were.
The thing is, we've all been there. Packaged foods are convenient, the kids actually eat them, and at around 50-70 cents per bar, they seem affordable enough. But eventually I was buying the "better" store-bought bars (the ones with cleaner ingredients) and found I was spending almost $3 each. That adds up fast when you're feeding a family of seven.
So I decided to make my own version. These homemade strawberry bars are substantially cheaper with no artificial anything. Just real food that your family will actually enjoy. And the best part? They're simple to make, freeze well, and taste delicious!
Let me show you how simple this really is!
