Hello there and welcome. My name is Tayler and I am so glad you stopped by. This is where I share my passion for all things homemaking and encourage you to step into the role God has you in with joy and intentionality.
Thankful Homemaking: Cultivating a safe and loving home for those the Lord has entrusted me with. Taking care of the floors that little feet run on, the walls that see my fondest memories, and the hearts of the people within my home. It’s creating a space of comfort, where all can find rest. It’s nourishing those who sit at our table and making it a place where joy is had by all. A place where it’s evident that the Lord shines the brightest. It’s living out my mission field here, in the mundane work. It’s choosing to find the beauty, blessing, and privilege in all of it.
A little more about us; I am married to my best friend, Matt. We met our junior year of high school, married at 18, and have been building our lives together every day since. We are currently raising our little ones on a little homestead in Arizona and enjoying learning all of the things.
We are parents to identical twin boys, Wesley Carter and Jax Matthew, who went to be with Jesus a few days after they were born at 28 weeks on December 6, 2015. A few months later we felt this strong urge to start the home study process and pursue adoption. We adopted our son in August of 2016 and have been hooked on him since day one. A few months later we found out we were expecting again, and our daughter was born 11 days before his first birthday, making us parents to Irish twins. Our second daughter was born January 2019 turning us into parents of 3 under 3. Then our third daughter joined our family June of 2021 and now we are expecting another precious boy fall of 2023.
We are forever thankful for ALL the little feet running throughout our home.
Jesus is the center of our home and we exist to radiate His light in everything we do. I am blessed to be able to spend my days raising our little ones. Here you will find my heart for homeschooling, homemaking, homesteading, and motherhood. From sourdough bread to chicken coops, these pages hold all my best tips and tricks.
