Chewy Granola Bars

Store-bought granola bars are one of those things that look healthy but flip the package over and you'll find corn syrup, sugar alcohols, and a lineup of unecessary ingredients, all in a snack marketed to your kids.
(Or you are like me and were paying $8+ a box for quality ones that are gone In 24 hours)
These homemade chewy granola bars cost a fraction of that, and you control every single ingredient that goes in them. Swap the mix-ins, change the nut butter, add chocolate chips, dried fruit, seeds. Whatever your family actually eats. That's the beauty of making it yourself!
Now, I'll be honest with you, granola bars are probably the trickiest snack recipe to get just right, and here's why: the type of protein powder you use, whether you're working with rolled oats or quick oats, and even the style of peanut butter (natural vs. conventional, runny vs. stiff) all absorb moisture differently. What works perfectly in one kitchen can come out crumbly or too dense in another. But don't let that intimidate you! Once you understand the variables, it's totally manageable, and I walk you through step by step how I make mine In the video! 👇
