We're officially in the "back to everything" part of the year. School, Sports, Bible Studies. With days this full, the last thing I want to be doing at 5 o'clock is staring into the fridge wondering what's for dinner. That's exactly why I keep coming back to this rhythm: one plan, one list, and a whole week of dinners already decided.
If you're new here, welcome! Every Saturday I share our family's dinner plan along with a complete grocery list and prep tips to help take the guesswork out of your week. Nothing fancy or complicated. Just real, homemade meals your family will actually eat.
This week's menu has a little bit of everything. We're starting Monday with tender spinach turkey meatballs over jasmine rice with a drizzle of basil pesto, then crispy buffalo honey chicken with creamy mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. Wednesday is the one I'm most excited about, crockpot birria tacos with that rich, dippable consomé (trust me, your house will smell incredible all day). Thursday brings a quick one-pan chicken sausage spinach orzo, Friday is homemade pizza night as always, and Saturday is reserved for leftovers or dinner out so everyone gets a little break. We'll wrap up the week Sunday with classic sloppy joes on homemade buns with everyone's favorite chips. As always, I'll share a few make-ahead ideas below to help your week run even smoother!
