7/20-7/26 On The Menu

Summer always seems to have a way of filling every hour. Between tending the garden, keeping up with the house, and trying to soak up these long days, dinner can sneak up on me faster than I'd like. Having our meals planned ahead of time has become one of the simplest ways I can make our evenings feel a little slower and a lot less stressful.

If you're new here, I'm so glad you're here! Each week I put together a dinner plan, complete with a grocery list and simple prep ideas to make homemade cooking feel doable, even on busy days. My goal is to help take one thing off your plate so you can spend more time around the table and less time wondering what to cook.

This week's menu is full of comforting family favorites. We're kicking things off with a hearty one-pot spaghetti served alongside homemade garlic bread and a fresh salad. Tuesday is creamy cheddar ranch chicken with crispy roasted potatoes and parmesan Brussels sprouts, followed by sweet and sour meatballs over fluffy jasmine rice on Wednesday. Thursday's chicken broccoli orzo skillet is one of those creamy, one-pan meals that everyone always asks for seconds of. Friday is homemade pizza night (a tradition we'll probably never give up), Saturday is set aside for leftovers or a night out, and we'll finish the week with garlic butter sheet pan steak, potatoes, onions, and green beans—a simple dinner that feels a little special without requiring much extra work.
