11/9-11/15 On the Menu

Various foods from 12/15 - 12/21 on the menu, pizza, pasta, and more.

I can hardly believe it, but Thanksgiving is just a few weeks away, and the holiday season is right behind it! Before we know it, our calendars will fill up with gatherings, our kitchens will smell like pie and cinnamon, and our to-do lists will grow faster than we can check things off. It’s such a sweet season, but it can also feel like a lot.

That’s exactly why I wanted this week’s meal plan to be full of cozy, comforting dinners that are easy to get on the table. We’ve got lasagna soup with fresh artisan bread, classic chicken and dumplings, smothered burritos, a creamy crockpot Alfredo, homemade pizza night, and birria tacos to end the week. I’ve also included a make-ahead prep guide so you can do a little work ahead of time and have more breathing room on your busiest nights.

If your heart is already racing just thinking about the holidays, take a deep breath. You don’t have to do it all, and it doesn’t have to be perfect. Progress over perfection, always! Every homemade meal you put in front of your family is a gift, and the moments around the table matter so much more than how polished it all looks. Let’s slow down, savor these last weeks before the rush, and keep giving thanks for the everyday blessings right in front of us!

Here is your weekly menu, tips for prepping ahead, and grocery list!

If you're new here:

Fridays are our pizza and movie nights! We don't have a TV in our home, so every friday we set up the projector and make pizzas!

Saturdays are "Restaurant Nights"! I create a cute little menu with all our leftovers, and the kids get to "order" what they want! It makes cleaning out the fridge feel like a special event instead of a lame leftover dinner. We do that every Saturday to empty out the fridge for grocery day on Sunday! It also helps ensure Mama gets a REST on Saturdays and I don't have to actually cook dinner!
