1/5 Weekly Prep Recipes
Happy New Year, sweet friends! I hope your Christmas season was filled with precious moments and plenty of cookie crumbs to vacuum up (because let's be real, that's motherhood!). As we dive into 2025, I'm back with our weekly meal prep routine as a family of seven! Between homeschool lessons, toddler snuggles, and the beautiful chaos that comes with having five little ones, our Sunday prep sessions have become my secret weapon for serving up homemade meals without losing my mind on busy weekdays. Not only does this weekly ritual help us avoid the dreaded 5 PM "what's for dinner" panic, but it's also been a game-changer for our grocery budget - because nothing hurts quite like watching those organic produce impulse buys wilt away in the crisper drawer! By taking a few hours on Sunday to chop, prep, and organize, we're able to prioritize nutritious, home-cooked meals while saving both time and money throughout the week. Plus, having grab-and-go options ready means I can focus on teaching fractions or reading stories instead of being stuck in the kitchen during our school days. So grab your coffee (or maybe your second coffee), and let's dive into what I'm prepping for this week!
